HR Organizational Changes
It is with mixed feelings that we announce that Yelitza Silva, Director of Total Compensation, has given notice so that she can spend more time with her family. Yelitza joined Sun Health in 2017 as a Human Resources Coordinator at La Loma Village. Yelitza made such an impression with her integrity and big-hearted customer service focus, that she was promoted to Human Resources Manager at The Colonnade later that same year. In 2018, she followed her passion for benefits and was promoted to the Director of Total Compensation. Her successes include the development of benefit programs and compensation structure during the One Sun Health transition in 2019, helping to develop and expand the employee wellness programs and benefits, and providing rich feedback and support to many team members over the years. She will be missed as a trusted resource. We understand and support her choice to spend time with her young family.
With changes come opportunities. We are pleased to announce that Leilani Anderson, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), has accepted the Director of Total Compensation role, effective April 5, 2021. Leilani joined Sun Health in 2014 in the Dining Department at Grandview Terrace, and quickly moved into leading the Human Resources department at GVT, the discipline she pursued in college. Wanting to continue to learn more about the great world of Human Resources, Leilani completed her HR Certification in 2018. Leilani worked at Grandview Terrace as HR Manager until June 2019, when she became the HRBP supporting many departments across the three senior living campuses. During her career at Sun Health, Leilani has continued to share her interest in benefits and compensation and prepare herself for an opportunity like this.
We will be selecting a new HRBP to support the communities. As Leilani shifts to her new role, Yelitza has agreed to help support our 2021 Open Enrollment and make sure that we are successfully supporting our team members during this crucial time.
Please join me in congratulating Leilani as she grows and helps lead Sun Health’s efforts to be an employer of choice AND thanking Yelitza for her ongoing service to the team members of Sun Health as she shifts to a supporting and training role at Sun Health prior to staying home full-time with her family.
