Ruff Scholarship Fund, totaling $6.4 million, was established to create new opportunities for employees pursuing careers in nursing and nursing-related healthcare professions in Arizona. The fund is designed to award approximately 5% annually to help address the growing need for trained healthcare professionals across the state.
Because of the exceptional care he received, Mr. Ruff chose to invest in the future of nursing in Arizona. During the final decade of his life, he developed a deep appreciation for the caregivers and staff at the former Sun Health Boswell and Del E. Webb hospitals, inspiring his commitment to supporting future healthcare professionals.
